The LINE Austin is the complete reinvention of an iconic, mid-century modernist building overlooking Town Lake in the heart of Downtown Austin-just steps from South Congress. The redesign of the 1965 building, a collaboration between Austin architect Michael Hsu and LA-based designer Sean Knibb, showcases art by emerging local artists throughout the property. The hotel is home to Arlo Grey, the debut lakeside restaurant by Top Chef winner Kristen Kish, popular LA-based caffeine purveyors, Alfred serving coffee and easy food to take away in the lobby and Dean's One Trick Pony, a casual burger joint and bar on Congress Avenue next to the bridge. On the sixth floor of the hotel is P6, a rooftop lounge with sweeping views of Town Lake.
